FAQs

how is life coaching different from therapy?

While both coaching and therapy often look at the client’s past, life coaching also has a big component of accountability and offers tools and actionable steps you can take each week to get closer to your goals. I also don’t diagnose - my job is to hold space for you, reflect and offer observation and actionable items to help you create the life you want.

How long will we work together?

We’ll work together to help you process old beliefs & emotional patterns and re-create new, healthier ones. Creating these changes in our lives in a sustainable way takes time, and so I typically work with clients for a minimum of four months. Many clients, however, choose to continue working together after that time period.

What is your personal style of coaching?

I believe deeply in meeting the client where they are. In addition to more traditional coaching techniques, I often incorporate spiritual and other teachings into our sessions to help offer another perspective. I also work with clients to incorporate meditative and other practices into their lives to amplify the power of our work together.

How much does it cost?

Coaching sessions are 60 minutes long and cost $150/session. This rate also includes unlimited support between sessions via WhatsApp and email, as well as access to the Huma Rising App (iOS only).
